MY BB CREAM

Fast
forward. K-Pop became very popular in most parts of the world. Of all the
cosmetics manufactured in Korea and endorsed by their porcelain-skinned K-pop
stars, BB cream, a kind of concealer, caught my attention, due to its packaging.
Yes, the appearance of a product DOES matter. Haha. I bought the smallest tube
available, 30ml., just to test it.

On the front
part of the tube, these words are written:
Perfect
Cover, Whitening and Anti-wrinkle, SPF50, PA+++. I had to Google the meanings
of SPF50 and PA+++.
The first
thing that I noticed when I opened the tube was the smell. It smells of fresh
nuts and fresh water. I don’t even know exactly how fresh water smells but
anyway, the scent of BB cream reminds me of clear springs, mountain breeze, and green meadows.
Seriously. Real talk.
Surprisingly,
the cream feels so cool on the skin. I don’t know the chemical components of
this beauty product but anyway, it leaves the skin feeling fresh (in my case). I
don’t know if this is also the case of other people who have used or who are
using this cream.
And yes, it
conceals the blemishes on my face. It stays on my skin but it doesn’t give me
that weird sticky/oily feeling. I don’t know how many shades there are to
choose from; I didn’t ask the seller in the Korean mart. I just pointed to it,
she gave it to me, I paid for it, she gave me my change, we both forced a smile
and exchanged “thanks’, and I went away.
BB cream has
been in the market for a while, and I know that a lot of people have been using
this cream which I have just so recently discovered.
At the rate
of 5, 5 being the highest, I’m giving it 4.7.
