A Bonne' Lotion Review

Image
I have a new friend. Well, friends…because there are two of them, but they are of the same brand, so “friend” is also acceptable. I discovered these two wonderful beauty products in late 2019, but it is only now that I have the time to feature them here. I live in a tropical country, and it is understandable for people here to look for some products that will block the adverse effect of ultraviolet rays. I did some research and I found these. I immediately went to the nearest beauty store to find them. I instantly liked the smell of the orange one, A Bonne’ Miracle Spa Milk with Tomato Extract. I don’t know if real milk or tomato extract was added here, I’m not a chemist, so there’s no way for me to find it out. I instantly liked this anyway because of its scent. It’s not too sweet, it’s not too bland, it’s a perfect balance between sweetness and freshness. When I got home, I took a shower again of course, and tried this all over my body. It felt so smooth! I never had this exp

Olay Ultra Moisture Body Wash with Shea Butter--My First!

I once casually mentioned to my landlady that my toes are the epitome of dryness. Imagine my surprise recently when she knocked at my door with this wonderful present, Olay.    She told me to use it right away. Haha. The smell is really sweet, and it makes me wish I had someone in my life who would appreciate its scent after I use it. OMG. Aside from its dream-inducing scent, this beauty product locks in moisture, making the skin soft and smooth BUT without the greasy, sticky feeling which, understandably, all people do not appreciate. Highly recommended. ^_^

Face Powder with Vitamin E

Another amazing product from Ever Bilena! My very first compact powder is of course the cute sweetheart, Maybelline Compact Face Powder, Natural Shade. I featured this in another blog post. When I went shopping for some essentials, again, I found this lovely Face Powder from Ever Bilena. It was also on sale, and it says it has Vitamin E, so I decided that it was all worth it. It’s good, it covers the blemishes and spots, and it’s mildly scented. The tone/shade matches my neck more so I have been using it on my neck. This beauty is a must in every woman’s beauty kit, I guess.

Concealer and Stick Face Foundation

This beauty, Ever Bilena Concealer, surely has come a long, long way. I remember using this for the first time circa 2008. It came in a transparent plastic cover. The moment I used it, I knew that we would be together forever. Fast forward to a decade later and I was delightfully surprised when I saw it, right there on the shelf, with its new box. I tried brands that are internationally popular, but sadly, they did not provide the clean and natural effect they promise. I love this brand because it flawlessly covers my blemishes. It doesn’t make my skin feel itchy or cakey. It’s just, just like how my skin is just there. Hahaha. This comes in three shades---Creme, Miel, and Beige. I use Creme,  the one that matches my skin tone the most. I recommend this concealer to all the ladies who are always on the go. ^^

Lip and Cheek Stain--My Lovely Beauty Item

This is another beautiful Ever Bilena product which I would like to share to you all. I wanted to buy lipstick but again, this was recommended by the lady at the store. Before that time, the only product I used for my lips was Maybelline Pink Lolita Lip Gloss. When I started making videos for my channel, however, I noticed that my lips look paler than they really are. (I am using the free plan of Clipchamp, there’s not much I can do about the colors of the images; hence, I have no special filters nor do I have special color combinations for my YouTube channel. What you see is what you get. Hahaha! ^___^ ) Anyway, going back to the lip tint… I decided to buy it just the same because it was on sale also, for the same amount, P38.00, roughly 0.79 US Dollars. When I got home from the store, I immediately took a shower (for the second time that day) and tried this product

Ever Bilena Glow Out Highlighter

Image
I’m very happy to share with you my latest discovery---Ever Bilena Glow Out Highlighter makeup!  I went to Ever Bilena Mercury Drug Store in Ever Gotesco Commonwealth Branch to buy a stick concealer, the one I’ve been using since 2008. The kind and pretty lady suggested that I try their highlighter. It was on sale, it cost only P38.00, not even 1$USD. I did not know about highlighters until that moment, and the lady had to explain to me how to use it. In the YouTube video whose link I am posting below, I am using the FREE PLAN of Clipchamp Video Editor. I have no special lights, no special filters, no special effects in that video BUT the highlighter on my face is noticeable. It’s not professionally applied, and I DON’T LOOK LIKE the models of cosmetics you see on glossy magazines--- I'm not even a model material to begin with---but what I am pointing out is---I like my highlighter and I’m thankful to the lady who introduced this product to me. (smile, smile, smile) Unfortunate
